Gesha Village Lot 25/032 (Washed)

About this Lot

Lot 25/032 is a washed Gesha 1931 from the Oma block of Gesha Village — one of the highest and most balanced growing areas on the estate, sitting just over 2,000 masl in Ethiopia’s Bench Maji zone.

Freshly harvested coffee cherries for Lot 25/032 are pulped and fermented without water for 12 hours. These are then washed thoroughly to remove the mucilage.

It opens with jasmine and sweet lime, turns into white peach and bergamot, and settles into a clean, honeyed finish. It’s the kind of cup that doesn’t need to prove itself, it just is what a washed Gesha should be: floral and delicate.

About the Farm

Gesha Village Coffee Estate, founded by Adam Overton and Rachel Samuel, sits on 471 hectares bordering the original Gesha forest, where this variety was first identified in 1931. The farm is managed under regenerative practices, preserving the wild canopy and native biodiversity that define its terroir.
